Ben was religious and studied books of religion at night after attending school. He was captured along with the American troops and moved from Buchen wald to Skoes of Tyrol near the Austria border. He was freed on the 3rd of May 1945. Most people know him through the radio. Ben was the father to Howard who was born on the 12th of January, 1954 and he was Ben and Ray’s second child. Ben’s wife used to run a liquor shop while Ben worked at the radio station.

Before being a radio host, Ben was transferred to the Majdanek Prison camp back in July of 1942. Before getting released from the camp, Ben used to work as a cleaner and vegetable maker in jail, and after that, he was released after struggles.
