As per the reports, Vinayak Mete passed away on Sunday morning, 14th August 2022 after a road accident which has happened on the Mumbai-Pune expressway which is exactly located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra.

At present, the policeman whose name is Ram Doble is presently admitted to the hospital and taking medical treatment. After hearing the news of the accident, Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Devendra Fadnavis, the senior BJP leader as well as Deputy Chief Minister reached the hospital where was the late politician admitted. After the demise of Vinayak, he left behind his wife and two kids, 1 daughter and 1 son. On the demise of Mete, many politicians from Maharashtra paid tribute to him.
