After the case was reported, the cops responded to the 500 block of Twilight Drive and requested individuals in the area to remain inside their houses and those who are away from the house to take shelter till then they found the shooter and put him behind the bars. Mike Ryerson who resides nearby the apartment stated that “A cop kind of raises his hands towards us and stated just stay there and after that he came down and stated, just be inside ad we have an active gunman in the area and he can harm anyone so it’s better to take precautions and remain inside the house.

Officials stated that many agencies help them in order to find the gunman. After a great search, the cops were successfully able to locate the suspect with the help of license plate reader technology which was installed at the exit and the entrance of the society just a few weeks back. The lady who was shot lost her life after sustaining serious wounds as stated by Grundy County Coroner. Her information has not been made public. It is not clear if the suspect and victim had any kind of relationship which led to this shooting to happen, but the cops stated that now the public no need to scare anymore and the probe is already going on.
